The gallery was born out of the need to showcase the enormous amount of talent that this semi-desert, but majestic area draws - some internationally acclaimed and others emerging.

Artist's work that has been available elsewhere, but not here in the Karoo town, whence they had opted out - can now be viewed here in Oudtshoorn.

The idea of the gallery was born out of a group of artists and it thrives on their sense of ownership and participation. Guests are invited to imbibe of it's ambience and spend time in it's comfortable and beautiful surroundings.
